Dawn Danko - Ward 7 Trustee

It has been an incredible privilege to serve Ward 7 as your Public School Board Trustee at HWDSB. Back in 2014, the ward included Upper James to Upper Sherman, and from the brow to the hydro corridor. In 2018 the boundsriss shifted to Upper Wellington and some areas went to Upper Gage with the creation of the new ward 8.

I had decided this would be my last term back in 2022, and have shared that with the community preciously.

This year I am running to serve as Ward 8 City Councillor, and the Ward 7 trustee seat is open. I hope you will take the time to get to know any candidates (Seth Floyd, a ward 7 resident, is currently on the list) and get out to vote on October 26th!

I will continue to serve our ward 7 community as Trustee until the new term starts in November :)

Across the province, students, teachers, and education workers are learning and working in classrooms with no air conditioning, windows that do not open, and aging infrastructure that has been neglected for years.
