Over 30 CIC students volunteered at Gage Park on Saturday, partnering with artists to lead hands-on workshops and creative experiences for children and families across the Hamilton community.

The Elite Pathway Program is more than only academic preparation, it is a journey of growth, discovery, and transformation. This year’s Class of 2026 completion ceremony reflected just how far students have come in both achievement and character.

✨At the ceremony, Ken Withers, Director of Student Recruitment at the University of Toronto, shared a powerful message about the program’s purpose and impact:

“The Elite Pathway Program was created through a shared vision between CIC and the University of Toronto to prepare students not only for university admission, but for success beyond it. By combining academic excellence with leadership, communication, and global citizenship, the program equips students with skills that will set them apart in the future.”

He also highlighted the strength of this year’s cohort, including a remarkable 100% university admission outcome, reflecting both student dedication and the effectiveness of the pathway model.

Elite Pathway Program students grew through challenges that built resilience and opportunities that developed leadership.

Through community engagement and experiential learning, they learned to navigate uncertainty with confidence, curiosity, and purpose.

Meet Irkin Mokhammad, our University of Toronto Elite Pathway Class of May 2026 graduate whose journey at CIC was defined by determination, discipline, and a lifelong dream of becoming a pilot.

While completing the Elite Pathway Program, Irkin balanced his academics with the intense training required for his Private Pilot License - mastering weather, navigation, flight rules, and long study hours with discipline and determination.

Meet Tengxiao Wang, CIC '26 who turned the challenge of adapting to a new country into an incredible journey of academic and personal growth.

In less than a year at CIC, Tengxiao developed strong independent study habits, embraced new opportunities, and discovered his passion for business and mathematics. Through the support of teachers, counsellors, and CIC’s diverse international community, he grew into a more confident, disciplined, and self-aware individual.

His dedication earned him offers from prestigious universities across Canada and the UK, reflecting both his hard work and the consistent support he received through CIC’s Total Care Education® System. 🌍
