Syed Bakht for Ward 1 Councillor

Thank you to all of you for your support and to those who voted for me, thank you from the bottom of my heart. To all my family and friends, near and far, thank you for your unwavering support, encouragement, and votes. It has been a valuable experience running as a candidate for the first time. I have met wonderful people canvasing within our community, knocking on many doors, meeting many new faces and learning about their stories. I hope to serve you and our community in other ways. It was a pleasure and honour running with 12 wonderful candidates: Lyla Miklos For Ward 1, Harrison White, Sophie Geffros for Ward One, Linda Narducci for Ward1 City Councillor, Ela Eroglu, Richard Massie, Jason Allen, Sharon Tait Cole, Sharon Anderson, Jordan Geertsma, and Carol Lazich.

Congratulations to Maureen Wilson for Hamilton's Ward One! We look forward to seeing your plans and actions for all communities in Ward 1 including the ones that are underrepresented.

Thank you to McMaster Students Union (MSU) for organizing yesterday's important debate. It was great to see all 13 candidates for Ward 1 present at the debate. Representation matters. On Monday Oct. 22nd, please vote for Syed Bakht for Ward 1 Councillor!
