We had the best time celebrating our grads from ‘51, ‘56, ‘61, ‘66, ‘71, & friends from surrounding years! It was an amazing day full of laughs and the best stories, including tales from a 1951 grad who would hitchhike to school everyday from Brantford 🧐
Looking forward to the Class of 1976 50th celebration next week 😁

Universities are steeped in tradition, and convocation is where those traditions truly shine. 🎓
Since McMaster’s founding in 1887, hundreds of thousands of students have crossed the stage to celebrate this milestone. Along the way, both official and unofficial traditions have taken shape, making each ceremony uniquely memorable.
As we celebrate our Faculty of Health Sciences graduates tomorrow and Thursday, swipe to discover a few of these traditions ➡️

We were pleased to host an alumni dinner on April 13 at the Manitoba Club in Winnipeg. Alumni spanning graduation years from the 1960s to the 2020s gathered for an evening of great food and even better conversation, sharing memories of their time at Mac and reconnecting across generations.
It was a lovely evening during which wonderful connections were made and past connections were rekindled. Thank you to Mahdi, Kimia, Margaret, Tanya, Hedie, Brian, Cathie, Ray, Luanne, Rick, Kathy, Harry, and Christopher for connecting with McMaster and your fellow alumni in Winnipeg!
