The last day in Ottawa was one of learning, laughter, and lasting memories. 💙
Our Grade 8 students walked the halls of Parliament, witnessed Canadian democracy firsthand, and shared meaningful experiences that will stay with them long after this trip is over.
As the evening brought everyone together for a banquet and movie night, it was a chance to celebrate not only an incredible trip, but the friendships, growth, and memories that have defined their years at the HHA.
The countdown to graduation continues, and these moments are ones they’ll carry with them for years to come.

Last Chance for Tickets 🎟
Tickets for the Hamilton Negev Dinner close on June 15th...
When terror struck on October 7, Shlomit’s volunteer security team answered the call to protect others. Four brave men - Aviad, Reuven, Bechor, and Oriel z"l - lost their lives in a battle that saved hundreds. Now, in the face of loss, the community is rebuilding.
A new Synagogue Cultural Centre will rise in their memory - an enduring symbol of courage, unity, and hope in Israel’s south.
Join us on June 22nd for the Hamilton Negev Dinner honouring Rabbi Daniel and Tova Green as we raise funds for the Learning Centre, ensuring that the legacy of those four brave men endures through lively learning, discussion, continuity, and faith.
We will also hear from our keynote speaker, the former United States Ambassador to Israel, David Friedman.

The HHA is so proud to celebrate one of our own! Mazel Tov to and to her proud parents Dr. Mark & Lisa Levy, on Caissie’s incredible achievement of winning her first Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Musical in NYC last night.
From her starring role in the grade five play, to her leadership in Maccabia all the way to the Broadway stage, Caissie’s journey is a beautiful reminder of what is possible to achieve with hard work, dedication, principles and a loving, supportive community surrounding you.
Caissie is a role model for so many young women, and a powerful example of the importance of family, friendship, and staying grounded in what matters most, no matter where life takes you.

Today, the HHA community came together to celebrate our graduating Grade 8 class with a special walkout parade. As students, teachers, and staff lined the halls to cheer them on, we reflected on the memories, friendships, and growth that have defined their time at the HHA.
It was a beautiful reminder that while our graduates may be leaving these halls, they will always be part of the HHA family.
Mazal Tov, Grade 8s. We are so proud of you and can’t wait to see what comes next.
315 boxes. One powerful message.
Today, our students gathered to watch hundreds of donated cereal boxes topple in a domino display, symbolizing how one good deed can inspire another.
Thank you to our students, families, and staff for supporting this year’s Cereal Drive in support of the HJFS Kosher Food Bank, and to our dedicated PTA for bringing this meaningful display to life.
Together, we’re showing our students that kindness is contagious - and that one act of giving can make a lasting difference.
