STOC - Big Box of Cards Fundraiser!
New to STOC this year, the Big Box of Cards fundraiser, featuring a box of 33 All Occasion cards or a box of 33 All Birthday cards for the low price of $35 (taxes included). We have outlined the details of this fundraiser below in order to make this a success for our school community.
• Our campaign runs from Monday April 4th to Friday April 22nd
• Each family will be provided with a product video link as well as an order form. (Links below)
• The product video link is intended to be shared with friends, family and co-workers.
• Payment for all boxes sold is to be made when orders are placed through School Cash Online only.
• All orders must be placed by Friday April 22nd. Order forms do not need to be returned to the school.
• There is a sample box available in the office if you'd like to come and take a look!
Additional Information:
• If the school sells 75 boxes, two $25 gift cards will be awarded.
• Grand Prize: for every three boxes of cards your family sells, their name will be placed in a draw to win one of four $25 gift cards (school must sell 150 boxes or more) at local retailers like, Best Buy, Cineplex, Toys R Us, and EB Games. If as a school, we sell over 400 boxes, then we will also draw for a 32GB iPod Touch or a Samsung 8 inch Tablet “A”! No limit on the number of times you can enter, the more boxes you sell the more times your name will go into the draw for the gift cards and possibly the iPod/Tablet.

Happy fundraising! Thank you in advance for your participation in this campaign! Please remember that all funds raised will go directly towards items and initiatives that benefit the students at STOC.
We really believe in the quality and value of these cards and think they would be great to have in each household in addition to the other boxes that the students sell to family, friends and co-workers.
Sincerely,
The STOC Catholic School Council

Bell " Let's Talk Day" Jan 26, 2022
The HWCDSB is a proud supporter of Bell Let’s Talk, a national awareness campaign dedicated to the promotion and support of mental health across Canada.
Bell Let's Talk Day takes place on Wednesday January 26, 2022. While the goal is to keep the conversation about mental health going all year long, January 26th marks the start of the campaign.
“As a Catholic school community and in support of the Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board Mental Health and Addictions Strategy, we are committed to fostering safe and inclusive learning environments, which includes addressing mental health and wellness,” says Mental Health Lead, Michelle Hayes.
“Bell Let’s Talk Day is a time to acknowledge that many students are struggling with challenging emotions in response to the realities of the pandemic and other events and impacts. It also provides another opportunity for our youth to hear messages that validate their varied and unique experiences and to be shown caring support.”
The HWCDSB social work department sends messages of kindness to HWCDSB students. Student can create Kindess Boxes for themselves or for others to provide encouragement and care.
Students, parents and other members of the school community are encouraged to Join the Conversation as we strive to break down stigma and reduce discrimination.
Let’s get the conversation started! Hwcdsb.ca, Bell Let's Talk, Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board, Hamilton Police Service, Hamilton Health Sciences, Roman Catholic Diocese of Hamilton, OECTA Hamilton-Wentworth; Catholic Youth Organization, Hamilton,
