The DeGroote Accounting Association (DAA) is a student run organization within the DeGroote School of Business whose main focus is to promote and generate awareness of the accounting profession to the McMaster community. We represent those students who are interested in pursuing an accounting designation. In addition to creating awareness on campus, we facilitate student transitions into the professional accounting world.

We’re excited to announce that DAA’s Annual Debits and Credits Case Competition is back!!
Sign up today to take on the role of a CPA to tackle a real-world accounting problem and present your recommendation to a panel of industry judges! We’re looking to hire 2 First-Year Representatives to join the DAA for the 2021-22 school year. This is a great way to build relationships with upper years and gain the experience of being on an executive team early in your university career. Applications are due October 10th at 11:59 PM and successful applicants will be invited for an interview during reading week.
