PeterPan Co-operative Preschool -Open
We are a dedicated co-operative where all parents are involved in some aspect of the school's operation and work together with certified ECE's.
We register children aged 16 months to 4 years in 2 separate classes. The toddlers attend school on Tuesday and Thursdays the Preschoolers attend school on Monday, Wednesday's, and Friday's.

Our classroom has been blooming with excitement as we dive into all things spring! 🌸
The children have created a true Flower Frenzy—exploring flowers in so many creative and hands-on ways. From designing beautiful flower arrangements to using blooms as inspiration in their artwork, their ideas have been blossoming every day.
We’ve also been getting our hands dirty planting seeds, building gardens, and imagining all the colours and life that come with the warmer weather ahead. It has been such a joy to see their curiosity grow alongside their love for nature.
We can’t wait to see what continues to bloom! 🌱🌼

🦖 Dinosaur Dig Adventure! 🦖
Our classroom was transformed into an exciting dinosaur dig site over three days of hands-on exploration! Using sand, tools, and “fossils,” children became little paleontologists—excavating, discovering, and identifying different dinosaurs.
We extended the play by adding matching activities with dinosaur “X-rays” and images, encouraging children to compare, question, and share their ideas. As the provocation evolved, so did the challenge—supporting persistence, problem-solving, and deeper engagement.
The children showed incredible teamwork, curiosity, and excitement—helping one another, asking questions, and celebrating their discoveries together. 🦕
This experience supported language development, social skills, and early science learning—all through play!

Hanukkah exploration
The children explored Hanukkah through open-ended, child-led experiences. The children engaged with meaningful materials such as dreidels, menorahs, and books, discovering traditions through play, art, and storytelling. They experimented with spinning dreidels in paint to make the motion visible, explored a menorah with eight candles and the shamash, and learned how foods cooked in oil—like latkes—connect to the story of the oil that burned for eight days. Through hands-on exploration, the children built understanding, curiosity, and respect for this important celebration. 🕎
