You may start noticing some new course names when registering for First Aid training.
As part of updated WSIB terminology:
➡️Emergency First Aid is now Basic First Aid
➡️Standard First Aid is now Intermediate First Aid
While the names have changed, the training, certification, and course content remain exactly the same.
We're sharing this update to help employers, students, and anyone looking to get certified understand the new terminology as it's introduced across Ontario.
