Recently, families in our community have been impacted by the stinky 🤢smell emanating from the local dump off Mud Street

With so many families recently moving in close proximity to this area, there is a growing concern on the health and safety of all our neighbours

We decided that it would be important to help our students understand this local issue, while also hoping to engage their families to become part of the solution

In the next few days, we will be sending around a community based petition that we hope our Ktown Parents can get behind

We feel strongly that as a community, we need to start taking steps to ensure that our cities, streets and communities are safe, clean and healthy

This will be the first of many actions that we hope to take in doing our part for Ward 9s Heritage Green Community

To find out more, we encourage you to follow the “SHUT DOWN THE STONEY CREEK DUMP” Facebook Group
