We're excited to be part of the No. 6 RCAF Dunnville Museum Open House on Saturday, July 4, from 10:00 AM–3:00 PM!

The Remembering Their Faces project at IDEAWORKS at Mohawk College will be on-site offering free photograph digitization to help preserve Canada's military history with Stephen Adams.

📍 No. 6 RCAF Dunnville Museum, Dunnville, ON

Have photographs of Canadian veterans, service members, aircraft, military bases, training, or family military history? Bring them with you! Our team will scan your photographs on-site, and you'll receive digital copies by email.
You'll also have the opportunity to contribute a digital copy to the Remembering Their Faces project, helping identify and honour the veterans featured in historic photographs. Participation is completely optional.

Every photograph has a story to tell. Together, we can help preserve these stories for future generations.

This is a very impactful way of understanding how widespread the losses were from the World Wars. Keep in mind that the map appears to be modern, and some areas may not have been developed. It is important to view these things in their historical context :)

While the website is available for people to browse, I acknowledge it's not at the quality level we expect it to be. Part of the next 3 year's work will be to get it moved much closer to what we, and we think you, would expect from it.
