Over 500 support staff, faculty, and union allies shut down Mohawk College Fennell Campus today.
Let this be a message to the CEC. If they think it will be “business as usual” while support staff walk the picket line in defense of public education, they are sorely mistaken!

Members of OPSEU-SEFPO Local 240 and 241 - Mohawk College faculty and support staff - gathered today in support of the Save Our Colleges campaign.
Ontario has the lowest provincial funding for post-secondary education (PSE) out of any Canadian province. This has led to program cancellations, layoffs, and increased class sizes.
Ontario needs to increase PSE funding to the national average and to ensure that funds go to our classrooms, not to management’s gilded boardrooms. ✊🏼
