I will be at the student center tomorrow from 5-6 pm. You can try using Google Cardboard and Ill also be giving away lots of cool Google swag! Look for the table with all the Google stuff :D

Google AdMob Information Session

Did you know that the latest Google Maps update allows you to download maps for offline use and has built in navigation features?
You can now use your phone (iOS or Android) as a GPS without WI-FI or Data! This includes turn-by-turn driving directions, searching for specific destinations, and finding useful information about places, like hours of operation, contact information or ratings.

Hey McMaster! :D

Google just recently announced their lineup of devices for the upcoming year. Included are the popular Nexus series additions, the Nexus 5X and the Nexus 6P, along with a new Android tablet called the Pixel C. You can also achieve connectivity across your electronics through the new Chromecast as well as the newly introduced Chromecast Audio. Best of all, you can now get these new devices on the latest Android operating system, Android 6.0 Marshmallow!

Hope you're having a great week - we've got an exciting announcement - our Google Scholarships have opened for application! :D

At Google, we believe information should be universally accessible. Our education and scholarship programs aim to inspire and help students become future leaders in computing and technology by breaking down the barriers that prevent them from entering these fields. If selected, scholarship recipients will each receive a $5,000 CAD scholarship for the 2016-2017 academic year and be invited to attend the all-expense paid Annual Google Scholars' Retreat at the Googleplex this summer. Scholarships will be awarded based on the strength of applicants' academic background, leadership, and demonstrated passion for computer science.
