The Migrant Rain Falls in Reverse, A Memoir written by Humanities graduate and Toronto-based Vinh Nguyen, was chosen for this year's Hamilton Reads 2026 events. "Recent data has shown that a generational divide has emerged in perspectives on gender rights, with younger men more likely to believe that gender equality has gone too far and that men should have authority over women," says Megan Blair, a postdoctoral fellow with the Wilson Institute for Canadian History.
