The Elizabeth Fry Society Southern Ontario Region is regrettably announcing that it will cease operations on March 31, 2023 due to concerns about the ongoing viability of the organization.
This was a very difficult decision to make and we remain committed to minimizing disruptions of service to our clients and stakeholders.
We are working closely with the ministry, funders and non-profit service providers in Hamilton to ensure suitable arrangements can be made for women. Our commitment to clients remains steadfast and we will do our part to assist and support other agencies to provide quality service to our clients after the closure. We thank the staff who have worked for Elizabeth Fry Society Southern Ontario Region over the years in providing services to women in our community.
