03/22/2022

Hello everyone! We are thrilled to announce that we will be holding a Two-Part Personality Carnival Event.

Hosted by Daniel Macciacchera () Head of Student Relations and Head of Finance for the McMaster Spiritual Club, this event will feature entertaining carnival games/activities, each of which corresponding to one of the Big Five personality traits.
This event, nota bene, will be held in two parts, so we shall have double the fun!

Pt. I will be held in person on Thursday, March 24th from 4:00-5:00pm at Burke Science Building (BSB) 120, and will consist of the following:
i) learning about the history and culture of Carnival;
ii) participating in fun carnival games/activities related to the Big Five personality traits, including Just Dance 2022, Journaling, Codenames: Duet, and Hasbro Monopoly Speed
iii) reflecting upon personality psychology in general and one’s personality traits in particular

Pt. II will be held in person on Thursday, March 31st from 4:00pm-5:00pm at BSB 137, and will consist of the following:
i) participating in fun carnival games/activities related to the Big Five personality traits, including Romeo and Juliet (No Fear Shakespeare) Shared Reading, Hasbro Operation, Resume Writing Workshop, and Temporary Tattoo Parlour
ii) reflecting upon personality psychology in general and one’s personality traits in particular

I am so excited to meet and celebrate Carnival with all of you. Feel free to wear a masquerade mask and/or costume, but don’t be deterred from coming if you would rather not do so. Most importantly, have as much fun as you want! It’s Carnival after all.
