Bachelor of Health Sciences Society - BHSS

Alongside these objectives, the society is designed to allow students to achieve both scholastic and personal growth.

The Bachelor of Health Sciences Society (BHSS) is a student organization of clubs and committees that are consistently evolving to meet the needs of the BHSc student community. Our mandate is to promote unity, collaboration and participation within the BHSc program in addition to providing educational and extra-curricular opportunities to our peers in order to enhance university experiences. The BHSS 2023-2024 yearbook has been released! Visit https://macbhss.carrd.co/ to view an online copy (PDF) of the yearbook, or purchase a print copy for $20. Sales will close on April 17 at 11:59PM!

Hello Wolfpack! The BHSS Communications Team has assembled the following form: https://forms.gle/xoUD5UXNHPg94io19 to collect information for the 2023-2024 program-wide yearbook! Please take a few minutes to fill it out so that your input and photos can be included. Later in the semester, the yearbook will be released and BHSc students will be given the opportunity to purchase a copy. Entries are due March 10, 2024 at 11:59 PM ET! BHSS General Meetings are starting today! Every Wednesday, from 7:45 PM to 8:45 PM ET, the BHSS executives will be providing updates on operations and initiatives. The meetings take place in the BHSc Lounge and in the BHSc Community Teams in the 'BHSS Virtual Home Base' channel, where they are also recorded. All BHSc students are encouraged to attend to listen and provide feedback. Notes for each meeting will be posted online on the Instagram story.

Hey FIRST YEARS🐺📣!! We are excited to announce that nominations are now OPEN for the BHSS 1st Year Representative for 2023-2024‼️ If you are in first year, we highly encourage you to run in this election!

The first step is to submit your nomination (by getting 5 signatures from BHSc students), and submit it no later than 5PM on SEPTEMBER 22, 2023.

Here are the key deadlines for this election:
Nominations Due: September 22, 2023 (5:00pm)
Campaign Materials Due: September 24, 2023 (5:00pm)
Campaigning Begins: September 25, 2023 (12:00am)
VOTING PERIOD: October 2, 2023 (8:00am) - October 5, 2023 (5:00pm)

Please make sure to carefully read the campaigning rules outlined in the nomination forms as breaking them may result in disqualification.

Hey Health Sci! 🐺💙 Interested about getting involved in the BHSS elections process? Apply to join the 2023/24 BHSS elections committee! In this role, you will help us oversee election procedures, ensure that the process is fair, and uphold principles of the BHSS constitution and bylaws.
