I LOVE all things skin…. Like LOVE.

It tells you SO MUCH about your body and your health.

So when I choose skincare I MAKE SURE that it will help my skin be its healthiest, and have a radiant glow immediately after using it.

I have always loved medical grade products because I have seen first hand how they work.

But lately….I’ve been intrigued on TRYING some waterless options….the claims look good. But are they really?

Have any of you tried waterless plant based products and seen real results?

I’ve always been optimistic.

I always believe things will just “work out”, and for the most part that universal energy has actually worked well for me.

Only in the past 5 years have I wanted more.

Dreamt for more.

Believed I could do more.

And it’s not for money (tho that is a pretty awesome bonus), it’s because I was and am tired of others dictating how my days go.

Dictating who I work with, the projects I do, the hours I work, if I can have a day off or not and when I’m allowed to vacation.

It never sat right with me. Eventually causing resentment towards a job/career I once loved.

It took almost 3 years of failing up hill, allowing others to tell me what was necessary for me to do to succeed that never felt connected to me as a person. However I listened, because they were people who made it look easy or who had my best interest at heart and their pessimism was just safety for me.

Listening to others. Not trusting my connection to universal energy that worked out so well for me years before, was my downfall.

It's not uncommon for women to want it all. The house, the family, the career, the glorious social life, the body and more.

This constant strive for perfection leads us to the inevitable burnout. We are taught to wear this as a badge of honour. But it is far from anything to be proud of; what we need to become proud of is setting healthy boundaries and truly living our lives- while appreciating our personal goals.

It is days like this, weekends like this, that remind me that the more I am in the hustle. The more I miss.
They are only little once.
I only get this time once.

Did you know our bodies are 64% water?
That is a lot, and yet we still struggle to maintain our water intake.
When it is suggested we drink 8-12 pints of water a day we all acknowledge that this is a range.
Some of us look at this as if it is an easy challenge. As others look at it as if it is impossible.
Whichever side you fall on , know it’s okay.
The goal is to hydrate YOUR body.
So if you are on the less than 8 glasses a day of water, let’s work towards 8. Monitor your intake and watch how you feel less hunger dips, less headaches, better sleep, and glowing skin.
