Join us for Taking It to the Streets later this month.

This public art exhibition, presented by Dr. Jasmine Hwang, assistant professor at UCalgary Nursing, brings together stories, photographs, artwork, poetry and videos shared by people living with dementia, caregivers and community members.

The exhibition offers a different way of seeing dementia, making space for connection, creativity, resilience, identity, hope and possibility.

Join the HIVE and the Social Innovation Initiative for the Social Impact Starter Series. In this five-session workshop series, participate in practical, hands-on learning to move an idea from concept to action. Workshops are open to students, faculty and community members.

June is National Indigenous History Month and our Associate Dean of Indigenous Education, Dr. Michelle Scott Paul has put together some book recommendations for our nursing community.

The first of these is Braiding Sweetgrass: Indigenous Wisdom, Scientific Knowledge, and the Teachings of Plants by Robin Wall Kimmerer.
