Kids Corner Day Home is privately licensed through the City of Calgary, meeting all safety and childcare standards while allowing me the freedom to create a program that’s truly child-led, flexible, and nurturing. I offer small-group care that focuses on the whole child — encouraging adventure, creativity, and curiosity through play and exploration. Because I work independently, families enjoy a consistent caregiver, a home-like environment, and the kind of personal attention every child deserves.

At Kids Corner Day Home, I believe childhood is a time of wonder, curiosity, and endless discovery. My program is dedicated to supporting the whole child — nurturing their mind, body, heart, and spirit through play, adventure, and exploration.

I follow a play-based, child-led approach that allows children to take the lead in their learning. Through imaginative play, outdoor adventures, and hands-on experiences, children develop confidence, creativity, problem-solving skills, and a lifelong love of learning. I view play as the foundation for growth — where curiosity turns into understanding and every experience becomes a learning opportunity.

As the sole caregiver, I take pride in creating a warm, home-like environment where every child feels safe, respected, and valued. My home offers a comforting and familiar setting that helps children feel relaxed and secure, allowing them to explore freely and confidently.

I believe in nurturing kindness, empathy, and emotional resilience. Children are encouraged to express their feelings, care for others, and solve problems peacefully. I take time to get to know each child and their family, building strong, trusting relationships that make every child feel like part of the Kids Corner family.

Outdoor play is a big part of our day — whether we’re discovering nature, using our imaginations outside, or learning through movement and exploration. Each moment is an opportunity for discovery and joy.

My goal is to create a joyful, nurturing space where every child feels loved, confident, and free to be themselves. At Kids Corner Day Home, every day is a new adventure filled with laughter, learning, and love.

Our children will believe everything they hear, as they don’t know any better, especially from the ones they love most, their parents. They’re little sponges, even when they’re in their mothers womb, they can hear and feel. The intention that leads into the vibration, and as soon as they understand what you’re saying, they will believe you. They’re learning everything from the beginning and have no idea to what to identify with, so we must guide them and express our love to them. As a parents it’s our responsibility to overcome and any emotions, see them for who they really are. A young conscious being, in a little babies boy. They’re so wise, yet can’t express anything in the beginning.. so they listen, feel and witness. Children don’t know any better, but we definitely do. They will say what they hear and do what they see, we need to be the example that they will be. It’s easier said than done, and we all feel the high emotions at times, lack of sleep, drive to succeed for your family, and so many things. Parenthood is one of the greatest journeys anyone can experience. A deep ignition that can make you rise more than ever or make you feel drained/ lost within the journey. To all the parents out there, you doing the best you can within the situation you are. Know you can make your dreams come true, for the family and you. If we tell them that Santa Claus goes around the world every year on a certain day, flying in reindeer’s and he will come down the chimney with a present for you, if you’re nice, so don’t be naughty, they will believe you. That a tooth fairy will come and collect your tooth, so place it under your pillow and when you wake up, the tooth fairy will have left you money for your tooth, they will believe you. We must raise a strong, confident, intelligent, courageous, peaceful, loving new generation.. they’re the future of the world, our children. So tell them how great they are, how they’re here to help the world, live with purpose, be of service to a conscious and aware world.
