It’s finally here! The collaborative Outdoor Learning Resource Hub is a comprehensive guide and a living document that highlights the work of outdoor learning organizations throughout the country. Regardless of your experience and expertise in land-based learning, you can explore this directory to deepen your understanding about what each of our partners are up to, and how they contribute to extending learning beyond the four walls of a classroom.

If you are part of an organization that would like to be featured, please get in touch: [email protected].

The goal is to update this living document on a monthly basis. Feel free to share, download, and spread the word liberally!

A couple days late, but an important message!
Spread the spider love!

Today is Save a Spider Spider Day, but really this is a day we should observe every day! The vast majority of spiders are of great benefit to us. They help control pest populations and their impressive range of unique adaptations have provided breakthroughs for us in a wide range of fields including medicine, science, manufacturing and even robotics.

Now You Know! - Cellar spiders (Pholcidae) are members of the Pholcidae family of arachnids. They have very thin, long legs and a body shape resembling a peanut. They are found on every continent in the world except Antarctica. These spiders are beneficial because they reduce the population of other more harmful household pests.
