It’s been “Art Camp” week at Discovery Kids and we’ve had a blast learning about some famous artists and trying our hand at their style!

Another fabulous Summer Camp week in the books! This week our theme was “Animals” and we had a ton of fun learning about and exploring some of our favourite creatures from around the world.

Through arts and crafts we created some amazing works - including some animal portraits, a giant world map, salt dough ornaments and a creative free-build day! (Two of our friends made Henry & Pippa a puzzle box for their treats, which was well received by Henry). And we capped off the week with a field trip to The Calgary Zoo today.

Our summer has started off with some fun: Science Week! We’ve explored and played with some chemistry experiments, stomp rockets, and testing physics with our outdoor water rocket toy!

We look forward to a week all about Animals coming up, and I still have a wee bit of space open for our “Art” week (July 21-25) and also our “Summer Fun” week (July 28-31st). As it’s our last summer together, space is only open to current/former clients.
