Studying abroad is a fantastic experience but can also be intimidating, especially for the neurodiverse. That's where our offices are here to help! 😄

In coordination with the UCalgary Neurodiversity Immersive Campus Experience team, aka the NICE team, this session will be conducted to prepare students for their time abroad! 🏙

This session will review how you can prepare for and thrive abroad. It will explore some challenges and opportunities you may encounter in a new learning environment. This is also an opportunity to meet with your neurodiverse peers and other students interested in fostering a supportive environment for their peers. ✍️

Universidad de San Francisco de Quito’s (USFQ) Galapagos Program provides the most unique education to students in biological and sciences, sustainability, and conservation!
This exchange program takes you to Quito, capital of Ecuador, and then to the world renowned Galapagos Island to study this natural wonder and conservation practices.
The program is fully delivered in English and offers opportunity to learn Spanish!

David Thompson spent his 2024 summer exploring Stuttgart, Germany—a city known as Das neue Herz Europas (The New Heart of Europes) —as part of our Stuttgart Summer program. ☀️

🏰 From historic castles to the cutting-edge Porsche Museum, he immersed himself in the city’s rich culture and innovation while taking a selection of 4-5 courses counting towards his degree.

Highlights included paddling the Neckar River, attending a concert at Schlossplatz with his host family, and forming lifelong friendships with students from around the world. 🛶

This journey was more than just traveling and earning academic credits towards a degree—it was a summer of personal and professional discovery, connection, and unforgettable experiences. 🌠
