Alhamdulillah our Akram Jomaa Robotics team is en route to the prestigious M.I.T. in Boston, MA for the Autonomous Racecar Challenge! Being the first Canadian high school team in the competition’s history to race against top US teams is an absolute honor. 🤖🏎️
Special thanks to Prairie Rose Public Schools and Dr. Reagan Weeks for believing in our students and making this dream trip happen.

A big congratulations to AJ’s own Sarah Abouali who has been named Prairie Rose Public Schools’ nominee for the 2025 to 2026 Edwin Parr Teacher Award.

A former student of AJ School, Sarah is now teaching in the same classrooms where she once learned, building strong connections with students and bringing her passion for learning into every class.

She will represent PRPS at the Zone 6 award banquet on May 20 in Taber.
