Dear Calgary parents and community,

Flying Minds Education Centre is growing, and we are currently hiring Robotics/STEM Instructors and English Language Arts (ELA) Teachers.

For our Robotics and STEM programs, we welcome university students and graduates in related fields such as mechanical engineering, electronics, computer science, programming, and other STEM disciplines. Experience with LEGO robotics, coding, electronics, or engineering projects is a strong asset.

For our ELA teaching position, candidates should be familiar with the Alberta curriculum and, for senior high school students, the Alberta Diploma Exam process and requirements. Preference may be given to candidates who completed high school in Alberta and understand the Alberta education system.

We also warmly welcome retired teachers, engineers, and other experienced professionals who would like to share their knowledge, skills, and experience with the next generation.

At Flying Minds Education Centre, our summer camps are designed to provide children with a full day of learning, exploration, friendship, outdoor play, and meaningful experiences. Whether your child loves science, robotics, chess, or art, our camps combine education and fun in a way that keeps children engaged from morning to afternoon.

One of the things that makes Flying Minds different is our commitment to small camp sizes. While many summer camps operate with large groups, we intentionally keep our camps small, with a maximum of 13 children per group. This allows our instructors to get to know every child, provide individual support, encourage participation, and create a welcoming environment where children can thrive.

Another advantage is the length of our camp day. Our camps run from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, making them one of the longest camp days available in Calgary. Parents receive exceptional value while children enjoy a full day packed with engaging activities, learning opportunities, outdoor recreation, and social interaction.

We also believe children need a balance between learning and movement. That's why daily outdoor activities are built into every camp day. Campers enjoy outdoor games, recreation, teamwork activities, and opportunities to build friendships while staying active.

What many families particularly appreciate is our cross-camp enrichment opportunities. A child registered in one camp is not limited to a single activity all day. Throughout the week, campers may have opportunities to experience:
