We would like to extend a warm welcome and thank you for joining us here on the Calgary Academy page. This page was established in order to provide insight into the inner workings of Calgary Academy and showcase our unique approach to education. This page will encompass everything from posting exciting updates on school events to fostering collaborative and constru
ctive discussions. Respect, Enthusiasm, Altruism, Commitment and Honesty are designed to inform our daily decisions and are engrained into our community guidelines. Calgary Academy is dedicated to providing a safe and predictable environment on all platforms. In order to ensure the dialogue in this group remains relevant and engaging for all users, we politely ask that you acknowledge these principals as you partake in conversation in an intentional and meaningful way. This is your space to connect, to share resources and ideas, and become part of our community. We’re here to listen, answer questions, start conversations, and engage with all of you. You’re the reason we’re here, after all! Please feel free to ask questions and share your ideas, your feedback and your stories. We are pleased to be on Facebook and encourage you to interact with one another, please note that by leaving comments, photos and videos on this page, you are agreeing with both Facebook's Terms and Policies as well as Calgary Academy’s Social Media Policy. We reserve the right to enforce these guidelines as needed and we encourage all of our members to familiarize themselves with these policies. We value the privacy of our staff, students and parents, thus any negative feedback about another individual that jeopardizes their privacy in any way will be immediately removed in conjunction with our community guidelines. If you have any concerns regarding personal matters, please contact your child’s vice principal or principal privately. Our hope is to build stronger ties within our community and to share our journey with others. Calgary Academy is an amazing school filled with incredible people and we want each one of them to shine. We understand that posts are subject to personal opinion, however, we ask that as a user, you show respect towards our community and work with us in creating a positive environment. Calgary Academy reserves the right to adjust these guidelines as necessary, on a situational basis.
