OH Yes, I am still in business and doing just fine. The Covid thing caused me to pivot as did most industries in order to remain relevant. My pivot moved me in another direction in terms of my passions in life.

I have always been a writer and communicator. So now, I am writing books not only for myself but for others as a ghostwriter. This brings my skills as a storyteller to the forefront which includes helping others tell their story with both words and pictures. I do it all from the original notion to the published work.

Discovering Our Downtown : Scott Kelby's Worldwide Photo Walk The World's Largest Photo Walk Event

Yesterday, my wife Maggie and I setup at Ready Set Go and photographed families that in some cases had never had a family photograph and printed off copies for each of them right then. Ready Set Go is a program that assists children of limited means to be outfitted for school with new backpacks, pencils and paper and new shoes and clothing and haircuts by one of the local hair and aesthetics schools here in Lethbridge. There were close to 900 registrants for the day. Those happy smiling faces of children receiving the collective generosity of our local businesses were then captured in front of my camera.

I want to thank all the amazing volunteers and the people of School District 51 for their wonderfully run program without which this could never have been done. The attached photo just gives a hint of the amazing faces we were able to capture. What an amazing, feel good day..
