We are officially announcing that Show + Sale has decided to temporarily pause the Spring Market program.
We recognize that many students have looked forward to participating in the Spring Sale and that our program is a source of income for our artists. While this announcement is made with a heavy heart, our decision was due to the need to restructure the Spring Market program to better suit the needs and capacity of our artists and the Show + Sale staff. We will be working hard to bring back the Spring program in the future.
We appreciate your understanding while the Show + Sale team works to better the program for our staff, volunteers and artists in the program.
If you have any concerns or questions about the program and the Spring Sale, please contact Sam our Programs Director at [email protected].

Painting the Fossil Follies
With Jordan Wieben, 2nd Year Character Design & Illustration Major
Saturday, Nov 16, 2024 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM
This presentation will feature a live acrylic painting on a large-format canvas, demonstrating a range of practical acrylic painting practices accompanied by discussions about character design, personal vision, and the symbiosis between paleontology and the arts. Jordan Wieben is the illustrator of the Fossil Follies, paintings of dinosaur characters inhabiting a fictive Belle Époque-era environ. He draws from resonant cultural iconography, including animated films and picture books, to present the relatable foibles of adorable, extinct behemoths.
