1. A Mother’s Day message in a beautiful frame 💐
2. Parental duties: Changing diapers!
3. Outdoor play (We saw a ladybug! 🐞)
4. Patience Exercise: This was too cute!
With the help of the google timer, we started with 1 gummy for 1 minute, 2 fish crackers for 2 minutes then a big cracker for 3 minutes before they could eat the treat. So proud of all of them!
5. Languages of the World: We watched a show about the different ways to say hello in various languages. We then practiced pronouncing each word. We are now multi-lingual🇲🇽🇨🇦🇩🇪🇺🇦🇰🇪🇷🇺🇯🇵🇮🇱🇨🇳🇳🇿🇻🇳🇮🇹

Hello May! We are looking forward to all that May has to offer —though our minds are still stuck on all that we did in April!!
***Our second trip to the Fire Station last month allowed us to see how a firefighter suits up for an emergency, what tools are used for the job and even see the inside of the trucks. (Ms. Julia almost drove us away once she got hold of the steering wheel and sirens🚒😆)
***We have also been enjoying our MAGNA TILE blocks to the fullest by deciding to try it on our garage door and adding some magnet letters.
💗Thank you to the “Okotoks Dayhome Providers” Group for lending out these and other toys and resources for us to experience AND for organizing group outings like the Fire Station visits we attend each year.
💗Finally…Big Thanks to our Firefighters and to my helper M. for assisting on this outing.

😉🧑🏽🚒Firefighter for a day:
-Arrived at the station at 04:00AM and inspected each of the firetrucks and all necessary equipment. We ensured they were all in working order.
-Our boss took a quick staff photo with one of our bigger trucks then we proceeded to complete our tasks.
-Next on the list was the inspection of our EMS trucks and even the lighting system.
-After a snack break, we went to do a workout in our gym to keep us strong and fit.
-We got dispatched and instantly got on the truck, turned on the sirens and headed off to the location. Our EMS crew also went along.
We were all able to rectify the situation as a team.🚒🚑

OUTDOOR PLAY-Eagerly waiting on picnic weather☀️
INDOOR PLAY-We still love our free play time and getting to build different things…like a stairway!🧱👷🏽♀️
SCIENCE EXPERIMENT OF THE WEEK:
Does it sink or float? Lots of guesses beforehand so it was fun to see the results and have them logged in. (We had to swap out the tall mermaid for something that could actually fit in our bowl😅That was a science error. It happens!)
RECYCLING-We are learning how to take care of our earth. First lesson was visiting the bottle depot to return all our bottles. In return, we got paid💰cha-ching!
OUR ENVIRONMENT-While on a walk we noticed all the changes happening around us. Ducks in the pond, puddles (from the snow melting) and even “Algae’

Guess who called my phone today while we were about to go eat lunch?
I was asked (by the Easter bunny🐰) to let the kids know that there was a few surprises hiding in the playroom and that I should let the kids search for them.
