curriculum is provided which gives combined opportunities to experience Reggio-inspired learning (nature as third teacher, loose parts, an emphasis on documenting children's thoughts through photographs, transcripts of children’s thoughts and explanations, visual representations: drawings, sculptures, all designed to show the child’s learning process), Waldorf (rhythm and routine, journaling, stories which helps children get in touch with their sense of wonder and magic) as well as play-based (provides learning experiences that foster exploration, problem solving, discovery and dramatisation, language acquisition, literacy, numeracy, and social, physical, and emotional skills). This Dayhome offers Full Time, Part Time, Half Day, Drop-In, Before & after school care and Summer Care. Very reasonable rates. Transportation available. I follow and use positive child guidance and I have an open door policy. I have my Child Development Assistant certification formerly Level 1 in Early Childhood Development field. I have good references, AMA driving record and Infant & Child First Aid_CPR (recertified on Aug 28, 2016 and expires Aug 28, 2019). I am the only one taking care of the children. I have a welfare/intervention check through Child & Family Services and Police clearance with vulnerable check (updated on Aug 24, 2016 next update due on Aug 24, 2019). I provide official tax receipts. Located close to several community playgrounds and schools. My Dayhome & vehicle is fully insured and there's a Dayhome & Vehicle first aid kit . This Dayhome is SMOKE FREE and 1 Yorkshire Terrier puppy who will join us in September/October 2017. This dayhome is child proofed for ages Infant to 8 years old. Currently I am a Child Development Assistant for the following Dayhome Children - 2 Part Time Children (21 month old on Mon & Fri AND 27 month old on Tues, Wed & Fri) as well as 1 Full Time Child (4 year old). I am a Mom of two children aged 6 years & 34 month old.

​This Dayhome is a 3 room suite on lower lever with a smoke detector, lots of big windows for natural light (windows are locked with screens in place for safety) as well as a full bathroom. The Dayhome is setup into a big playroom, a nap room with diaper changing station and carbon monoxide detector plus a room for our arts, crafts and reading corner with our own mini library. The Upper lever is equipped with a smoke detector and a fire extinguisher in the kitchen. Children have access to a full functioning kitchen and a dining section for multiple aged children (booster seats and children’s table & chairs). The backyard playground is a big rectangular fully fenced yard with a play house, pick nick table, slide, push motorcycle to drive, water table, sandbox, beach balls etc. A few examples of what we do in the different seasons: In the Spring/Summer we start our vegetable & flower garden, make mud cakes in the playhouse, make sand castles in the sandbox, play with the water table and ball pit. In the Autum/Winter we make jump in piles of leaves, tea parties, scavenger hunts, snow castles, snowmen, paint the snow with food colouring that is added to the water and make igloos with ice cubes etc. My Hours of operation starting September 2017 is Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 5:30pm​. Extended hours are available with an over time fee. Closed for two week period in the summer (adequate notice will be given in this regard). Closed on all Statutory Holidays​
