Women in Science and Engineering (WISE) is a University of Calgary student organization dedicated to supporting and encouraging women who are interested or engaged in science or engineering careers. WISE works towards fostering an academic environment where both female and male students can promote the participation of women in science and engineering. Established in 1990, WISE provides a support

system for students through course reviews, educational tutorials, guest speakers, field trips, connection groups,student mixer events, speaker series, research symposiums, graduate school information nights, a scholarship and much, much more.

Please join us for the "Prosperity and Confidence in the Workplace" workshop on October 5th at 5:00 - 6:00PM (MST) to hear from a diverse panel of inspiring women in various academia and industry STEM fields. 💜

This panel will discuss the barriers women face navigating the workplace and tips to overcome this, followed by a Q&A session where students can ask their own questions. These perspectives are aimed towards helping students who are thinking about internships, co-ops, or entering the workforce after their degree. Refreshments will be provided and there will be a raffe for a $10 Village Ice Cream gift card. 💜
