As a student in the Faculty of Graduate Studies' Transdisciplinary Graduate Programs, Sabine Lecorre-Moore is exploring Calgary's evolving Francophone identity through a research-creation project that blends art and anthropology.

Through portrait photography, textiles and community storytelling, Vestige, Village and Visage documents the diverse experiences of Calgary's French-speaking community while creating space for new connections and dialogue.

Her work highlights how transdisciplinary graduate students combine perspectives, methods and fields of study to explore complex questions in innovative ways.

Today's Fall Graduate Orientation (GradO) was all about helping new graduate students feel informed, connected and ready for the year ahead.

Students spent the day learning about academic expectations, exploring campus services, meeting fellow graduate students and connecting with the people and resources that will support them throughout their programs.

From the Service Fair and student clubs to interactive workshops and conversations with campus partners, GradO highlighted the breadth of support available to graduate students at the University of Calgary.
