Clients often ask what I use as an alternative to online scheduling that's more tactile. This is the planner I order every year - a week on one side, blank space on the other. It's simple, attractive, portable and brilliant. I keep it novel and easy to find by ordering a different color every year with my name engraved on it. And now they've created a neat little thing explaining why writing things down beats entering them on a keyboard - so now I don't have to keep explaining it, I can just send you to their website.....Denken mit der hand, indeed!

For anyone interested in exploring the connection between mindfulness and ADHD- The presenter did much of the breakthrough research. I notice that the intro talks about mindfulness meditation - don't know why people feel they need to link the two as if they belong together, and I doubt the presenter is going to be focused on meditation.

Those of us who are neurodivergent - with dyslexia, or ADHD, or ASD, see the world differently than neurotypical people - and so we tend have unique ideas, and sometimes create really unique things. Like Ikea. Or Virgin Airlines. Or really, really, cool shoes.
His quote gives some insight how he processes information - and I love that he sees his shoes as a way for people to feel and walk in stories:
"It's not about shoes; I had an aptitude for feelings and emotions. I understand how people feel. And I would say, if anything, I ended up being in the feel-good business. So my job is really making people feel, and walk in stories, and making them feel a little different."
