The Christmas season is alive and well and MMG! Thank you to Mrs. EKM for leading a wonderful workshop on how to create these beautiful (and delicious looking) Christmas bouquets!

For the unit-ending task in their “Wetlands” Science unit, 5G-R students were asked to create diorama projects that showed their choice of a marsh, fen, swamp, bog, or pond. Come check out their work - they are currently on display in the MMG LCL!

4Fisher had a blast experimenting with and making gingerbread! Just in time for the holidays - yummm! ☺️

4F and Flashlights! The students in Ms. Fallavollita’s class continue to build on their love of reading but this time using only the warmth of their flashlights! What a connection to their current “Lights and Shadows” Science unit! 🔦🔦🔦

Students in 5G-R had a chance to go to the “Starbooks” Cafe today where they reviewed and chose books off their “menus.” Everyone learned a lot! Thank you Mrs. Goble for a wonderful time! ☺️

Mother Mary Greene School is continuing our Food Collection to help families in need this holiday season. The Edgemont Community Association has asked for classes to collect the food items and gifts assigned below:

KINDERGARTEN - Peanut Free Snacks
GRADE 1 - Cereal and Oatmeal
GRADE 2 - Flour and Sugar
GRADE 3 - Rice
GRADE 4 - Canned Soup
GRADE 5 - Tea, Coffee, Hot Chocolate, Apple Cider
GRADE 6 - Peanut Butter and Jam
*All Grades - $10 gift cards, family games (Clue, Monopoly).

As with any of the charitable activities at Mother’s Mary Greene, this project is VOLUNTARY.

Donations will be accepted until Thursday, December 14th .

Penguin day in Kindergarten! The students did a penguin parade around the school to show off their headbands and learned how to dance the “Penguin Polka!” 🐧

Thank you to Sister Charbel and Sister Venancia for visiting our students at Mother Mary Greene school today. Thank you for sharing lunch with our staff and for teaching us all about God and His love for us.
