From the time your child starts grabbing for objects with their hands, they are developing a grasp.

If you are concerned about your child's grasp, talk to their teacher or an Occupational Therapist, especially if it is causing discomfort and affecting handwriting speed and legibility, among other things.

Mister Rogers reminds us that play isn’t just fun—it’s crucial for kids.

Through play, children explore their creativity, using imagination to turn ordinary objects into extraordinary adventures.

It’s also how they solve problems—figuring out how to rebuild a fallen block tower or make up rules for a game. On top of that, play teaches social skills like sharing, cooperation, and understanding others.

It’s much more than a break from learning; it *is* learning. By valuing play, we’re giving kids the tools they need to grow, thrive, and build strong futures.
