Sharp Sensei 7th Dan JKA is coming to Airdrie. Reserve that time to train on September 5th and 6th. This is a great opportunity to practice the Sh*tei katas, Unsu, Jitte, and Sochin. Futher more we will have 3 training sessions of Jyu Kumite. Learn the drills, strategies, foot work, and reaction drills that helped Sharp Sensei to reach the finals in 1996 and become the JKA World Champion. I'm excited to announce that we're opening registration for our Traditional Shotokan Karate classes - Yama Kuma - for children and their parents! 🥋

Dear friends, I'm thrilled to share that our new Traditional Shotokan Karate-Do classes are now accepting enrollments. Classes are primarily for children aged 8 and up, but younger kids are welcome to join if their parents participate in the training. This is a fantastic opportunity for your children to build confidence, learn self-defense, improve their health, and make new friends in a supportive and friendly environment!

📅 Schedule: Monday and Wednesday: 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM
(Optional: an extra 30 minutes for stretching, technique practice, and socializing until 7:00 PM)

📍 Location: Glenmore Temple, 921 - 68 Avenue SW, Calgary

We offer various packages, including family plans, so the whole family can train together! Special discounts are available for newcomers and low-income families.

Additional free opportunities:
- Free music lessons on Mondays (Brass band).
- Free English language courses (ESL) on Wednesdays.

And that’s not all! Classes are completely free until September 15th! This is a great chance to try Karate and see if it’s the right fit for your children and you.
