School will be open tomorrow.

Due to the impeding storm and out of an abundance of caution, MVA will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, Feb. 17. Parents will be receiving phone calls shortly.

Dear Parents,
Although the weather is beautiful right now, the forecast is calling for the possibility of a severe storm to hit overnight on Monday. I am writing to remind you of our procedures in the event that school is closed due to severe weather conditions:
1. Teachers will call the numbers on the emergency list. If no one answers, a message will be left if that is an option.
2. I will update the page as to the status of school.
As always, if school is open, we will defer to parents as to whether you wish to brave the elements. As always, if your child is not coming to school on Tuesday, please let us know. This is especially important during bad weather.
Again, no decisions will be made until Monday evening/early Tuesday morning. I just wanted to take the opportunity to remind you of our school closure procedures in case we have to implement them.
Hopefully, the bad weather will skip us.

Grade 9 students enjoyed a visit from WP Puppets today. Students made ‘rod puppets’ and really enjoyed the experience.
