🚒 Field Trip Fun! 🔥

Last week our Playschool friends visited the local Fire Hall! The children learned all about our amazing community helpers and how firefighters keep us safe. They even got to see the fire trucks up close, try the jaws of life tool, and hear the sirens!

A big thank you to our local firefighters for welcoming us and teaching the kids about fire safety and community service. What an exciting and educational day! ❤️👩‍🚒👨‍🚒

**This event is CANCELLED due to all schools reopening**

The Springbank Playschool, along with the Parks for All Seasons, would like to host a Trunk or Treat and family costume skate on October 31st, Halloween.

With the strike still continuing and a possibility that it will go on for the rest of the month, we are planning this event for our families and the community to come join in on.

Please RSVP if you would like to attend. We will require waivers for the ice skating portion, which we will provide at the event and also request that no sticks or pucks be used during the open skate.

If the strike ends and all students are back in school by Halloween, then this event will be cancelled. Please read the poster for details on the event.

🍎 We’ve been busy at the Playschool!
This past month, our little learners have been exploring all things Autumn - discovering apples and leaves, as well as making new friends, and starting Show & Tell.

We also had a wonderful time on our annual field trip to Butterfield Acres! The kids enjoyed a tractor ride, a pumpkin hunt, and meeting lots of friendly farm animals. 🐐🐓🐖🎃🚜
