Sabreforce Canada - by The Forge Fans dedicated to teaching and practicing the fantasy martial art of sci-fi saber fencing. Sabreforce is a division of The Forge: Western Martial Arts.

With over 30 years of martial arts background and a passion for science fiction we are hoping to share our knowledge with others! Have you ever wondered whether you have what it takes to wield a blade of energy in a galaxy far, far away? Have you fantasized about learning how to fight the minions of the dark side or become a champion of light? If the answer to either of those questions is a resoun

ding, "Heck YES!" then you need to come train with us! We're a group within The Forge: Western Martial Arts that is dedicated to celebrating our fandom in a unique and fun way! We are applying our collective 30+ years of martial arts experience to our favourite fandom and creating a unique, inclusive environment for others interested in learning and practicing sparring with a sabre. We will start practicing out of the Highland Park Community Hall on the 3rd Sunday of every month from 2:15pm - 4:30pm.

Hey folks!
Due to the lack of recent attendance it is no longer sustainable to pay for the hall.
From here on Florus and I will continue to meet up most months on an evening in a public space. I can let you know here if there’s enough interest or message me directly for details.
There will no longer be any instruction or loaner gear or fees.
It’s too bad but there it is.
It was fun while it lasted.
