Are you a UCalgary undergraduate student seeking a unique summer opportunity to practice entrepreneurial thinking? Look no further than the fifth Annual David Holub Interdisciplinary Cleantech Design Challenge, hosted by the Schulich School of Engineering!
This single-day pitch competition brings together students from engineering, business, law, arts and science to develop and present solutions to problems related to sustainability, energy, and environmental policy.
Complimentary food and beverages will be provided to all participants, and cash prizes will be awarded to the top two teams.

Dr. Shehryar Khan at the Schulich School of Engineering is rethinking how metals behave under extreme conditions.
His research shows that metals can bond in billionths of a second when they collide at high speeds, opening new possibilities for advanced manufacturing.
The work could have implications for industries like aerospace, defence, energy, and 3D printing.

Red Dress Day (May 5) is the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls, and Two-Spirit and gender-diverse people (MMIWG2S+).
Join us for a screening of Missing Matoaka, an alternative audio track that retells the story of Pocahontas from an Indigenous perspective. Played over the original film on mute, it confronts harmful stereotypes and reclaims the historical narrative.
