This prestigious recognition is a true reflection of Chef Martin’s lifelong dedication, passion, leadership, and exceptional contribution to the culinary profession and community. Throughout his distinguished career, he has held many important positions, including serving as President of the Calgary Academy of Chefs, while continually mentoring and inspiring fellow chefs and future culinary professionals.
Chef Martin has also received numerous prestigious awards and recognitions over the years, highlighting his commitment to culinary excellence and his lasting impact on the industry.
Today’s honour is a well-deserved celebration of an outstanding career and legacy. Wishing Chef Martin continued success and many more achievements ahead.

Chefs gathered at Sysco Foods Calgary for an incredible meeting filled with learning, connection, and celebration!
A special thank you to Sysco for hosting us and for the fascinating tour of their high-tech mega warehouse. The dinner was truly spectacular—compliments to their talented corporate chefs!
Congratulations to our new chef and associate members, and to the young chefs who competed last January at SAIT—it was wonderful to see you receive your well-deserved awards.
We also extend our sincere thanks to our guest speakers for sharing their inspiring stories and knowledge, and to everyone who attended and made the event so memorable.
We look forward to seeing you all again at our next meeting!
