Felt is that material you can turn into anything in literally seconds but fish is my go to for how easy it is.🐟🐡🐠
All you need is a good pair of scissors and of course lots of colors of felt and eyes eyes if you want to make something more elaborate.

A New School year is near and that just means I'll have to say goodbye to another peer. 🥺

I'm looking for a student and a family with Montessori aligned values to start a journey with me at Puzzles Montessori Day home. I understand that a lot of parents work from home but maybe you want your child to not only continue developing cognitively, physically and emotionally but socially as well so I'm offering two or three times per week to provide the extra activities in all areas and the social exposure they so much crave. Contact us if you have any questions!

"We Remember" The First World War ended on Monday, November 11, 1918, at 11 a.m. Remembrance Day marks the end of hostilities during World War I and an opportunity to commemorate all servicemen and women.

It is very important to teach children from a young age to learn about our country, culture, heritage, history and why we do things on certain dates. Wearing a poppy is not just a trend or a pretty thing to wear. It symbolizes respect, unity and a sense of belonging. 🌹

Craft: A wreath of poppies made with paper cupcake holders, paint and real poppy seeds.

Learning about our World's different traditions and celebrations.

Children learn about our continent and other countries in it. They learn other languages spoken and different celebrations, our differences and similarities but most importantly to respect each other by learning how important it is our heritage to each and everyone.

Pumpkin craft! Thanks to for this scented and great quality play dough children could not only enjoy the smooth texture but also the wonderful scent of cinnamon (red) and pumpkin spice (yellow). We learnt that mixing these two colors we get orange and were able to make a pumpkin with its green vine using a pipe cleaner and a pumpkin pie with some whip cream using cotton. So simple yet so engaging.

How fun it is to go on a Nature walk and gather pretty leaves of different colors and shapes, pine cones, stems, acorns and even rocks.

Great opportunity to not only talk about the season of Fall, but also about Gravity, which is why we called this craft "All things Fall"

We truly enjoyed this Nature walk just before the snow hits us in the next few days.

Just come back come and glue it all onto a paper plate.

Oh how children love shiny little items! The first thing they do is gravitate towards attractive materials. It doesn't have to have all the colors of the rainbow to attract them.

Prepare materials that have a purpose and can teach children, not only new skills such as using chop sticks but also new vocabulary and cultures around the world.

Making a simple and easy bird feeder for those House Sparrows and finches flying by.

Taking care of our outdoor environment is as important as taking care of the indoor.

Foster your child's natural love for nature, animals and all living things and you'll help him grow into a beautiful and caring human being.

This is one of the largest rodent in North America, also known as Canadian Porcupine or Common Porcupine. It's the only mammal with antibiotics in its skin. If it falls out of a tree trying to reach for buds to eat, the antibiotics prevent infection when a porcupine is stuck with its own quills upon hitting the ground.

For this craft, use brown, grey, or black play dough for its stocky body, and toothpicks cut in half for the quills. This is a supervised craft. Recommended for 3.5 year old children and older. Build concentration and nourish the love for creativity

Create a beautiful Christmas tree. Pictures show a step by step craft and its supplies.
Supplies: Pinecone, wine cork, felt, a lid to stand it on, glue, paint, glitter, small pompoms, glittered foam stars and cotton. Cool trick: after painting the tree, rub two glittered foam stickers together above the tree when it's still wet instead of sprinkling glitter directly. Less mess and more fun!
