Happy birthday Sifu Marvin. 🎉. Another year around the sun for Sifu — and still on the mats, doing what he loves most.

He doesn’t just teach techniques — he mentors, guides, and leads by example. He pushes his students to dig deeper, stay disciplined, and choose the harder, better path when it matters most.

It’s carried forward in how he teaches, how he leads, and how he expects his students to represent themselves in the world.

It’s that time of year again when the World Thai Boxing Association (WTBA) celebrates Teacher’s Day on October 16th.

Good news is that Ajarn Chai is expected to leave Thailand soon and will be home for his birthday on October 16th!

This day is set aside for students to honor their teachers who instruct in the art of Muay Thai by offering flowers, 1 candle, and 3 sticks of incense. It is optional to include a small amount of uncooked rice (1/2 cup) and piece of fruit.
