Celebrating 100 Years of Dr. Barry Moore
On November 10, 2025, Ambrose University honours the 100th birthday of Dr. Barry Moore, a pioneering Canadian evangelist whose ministry reached across 50 countries and continues to inspire generations today.
From his early days with Youth for Christ to founding Crusade Evangelism International, Barry’s life was marked by faith, vision, and a heart for sharing the gospel. His legacy lives on through Ambrose’s ongoing commitment to biblically grounded preaching and outreach.

Alumni Spotlight!
When the Ambrose Executive Office received a SMART Board donation, the best part wasn’t just the technology, it was welcoming back two alumni leading at SMART Technologies.
Cody Goertzen (BBA ’22) and Ryan Striemer (BA Business ’11), now working with SMART Technologies, gave President Rev. Dr. Bryce Ashlin-Mayo a hands-on walkthrough of the new device.
A full-circle moment showcasing Ambrose graduates leading in innovation and giving back to their community.

We had a fantastic turnout at our Education Alumni Gathering!
It was wonderful to reconnect with graduates from across the years, from the Class of 2013 through to the Class of 2025. Thank you to everyone who joined us for coffee, conversation, and community. We’re grateful for each of you and the impact you’re making in classrooms and beyond!

Ambrose brought in some pawsitive reinforcements to campus for Dog Day, and let’s just say productivity was at an all-time high (as long as there were treats involved).
Campus Security
These pups were on paw-trol all day, keeping campus safe from squirrels, rogue tennis balls, and unauthorized snacks. All bark, no bite!
Communications
Our furry friends had a lot to say, most of it was ruff drafts, but their PR was on point. Some serious barketing strategy at work!
Registrar
Keeping track of who's a good boy and who missed nap time. Transcript requests now require two belly rubs and a biscuit.
Reception
Welcoming everyone with sloppy kisses and expert puppy-dog eyes. We’re helping the strays find where they need to go, one tail wag at a time!
It was the ulti-mutt way to boost campus morale. Big thanks to our staff for sharing the puppy love

Stampede is just around the corner, and our Ambrose School of Education is already getting into the spirit!
They recently volunteered at Taradale School’s pancake breakfast, serving over 600 students alongside the Stampede Committee. We’re proud to see Ambrose in local schools building relationships, supporting our communities, and gaining hands-on experience. Yahoo!

Mark your calendars for Ambrose Day of Giving on June 2, 2025.
The Ambrose Day of Giving is a 24-hour fundraising campaign that invites the Ambrose community, alumni, students, parents, faculty, staff, and friends, to come together to invest in the future of Ambrose students.
It’s a day rooted in generosity and purpose. A day when even small gifts grow into something powerful. Every donation is planted in the lives of students, helping them flourish academically, spiritually, and professionally. For example, Jackson Potter, a 2024 graduate of our BBA program, shared that one of the most valuable takeaways from his time at Ambrose was gaining a Christian perspective on business—an outlook that continues to shape his professional decisions and ethical approach to leadership.
