We are so excited to start our fundraiser! We have partnered with Kernels Popcorn and Simple Simon’s Pies. Last year we raised over $1200 with our beef jerky fundraiser — can we do it again? Or even beat it?

The fundraiser has already started and will run until Friday, May 1st. After the deadline, we will place the orders, and it will take approximately 2 weeks for items to be ready for pickup.

Pickup will be from Little Treasures Inc. Downtown. Once we have a confirmed pickup date.

A few quick notes when filling out order forms:
*Hard Copies Available*
• Please write clearly so orders are easy to read
• Please use numbers instead of tally marks
• For Simple Simon’s Pies, each customer will need their own form
• For Kernels, there is space for multiple customers on one form
• Kernels popcorn bags are the smaller size (similar to a small chip bag)
• We must sell a minimum of 100 Kernels bags for them to fulfill our order

Payment:
• All payments are cash only
• Feel free to hand in order forms as you complete them — no need to wait until the deadline

We are hoping to use the funds raised towards enhancing our outdoor play space, including adding rubber matting and new play equipment for the children to enjoy.

Yesterday was full of friendship, kindness, giggles, and lots of heart-themed fun. The children enjoyed celebrating together and sharing special moments with their friends.

🎃 What a Fun Week at Little Treasures Downtown! 🎃
We’ve had such a busy and exciting week! All of our rooms were full of Halloween fun — from reading spooky stories, making witches’ brew and potions, creating play dough spiders, and playing in webs, to making ghosts and trying out ghost bowling!

Our older children practiced their scissor skills, and everyone enjoyed carving pumpkins and exploring the gooey insides. It was a week full of creativity, laughter, and hands-on learning. We’re so proud of all the children for diving into the Halloween spirit and having such a great time! 👻🕸️🎨

Today, we wear orange to show that every child is special, loved, and should feel safe.

We take time to learn about kindness, fairness, and listening to the stories of Indigenous peoples. We honour the children who were taken from their families and the survivors who are still healing today.

The kiddos have been loving all the leaves — tossing, collecting… and discovering all kinds of little critters hidden inside! From ladybugs to other tiny crawlers, it’s been a nature-filled adventure! 🌿🕷️🍁

Blue Room is diving into the desert this week! 🦎🌵

The children worked hard to create a giant lizard as part of their desert theme! This fun and colorful activity was also a great way to strengthen fine motor skills—they used their pincher fingers to apply the glue and carefully place pieces of tissue paper.
