What a wonderful way to wrap up another incredible year at Wildwood Playschool!

We celebrated with a picnic at Dinosaur Park filled with laughter, bubbles, treats, and so many happy memories. It was the perfect way to say goodbye to a year of learning, growing, exploring, and making friendships.

As a special keepsake, each child received a personalized photo album filled with some of our favourite playschool moments. These little books bring smiles for years to come and remind each family of just how much their little one grew this year.

To all of our amazing families, thank you for sharing your children with us. It has been such a privilege to watch them build confidence, discover new interests, and grow into kind, curious learners. Every class leaves a lasting place in our hearts, and this group has been no exception.

Wishing everyone a summer filled with sunshine, adventure, and time together. We can’t wait to see what next year brings!

Body tracing art is a beloved Wildwood Playschool tradition!

This large-scale art experience gives children the opportunity to create a life-sized self-portrait while exploring what makes them unique. As they study their eyes, nose, mouth, and other features, they begin to understand how all the parts of their body fit together.

From tracing their bodies to mixing paint and carefully filling in every detail, this project is a BIG job for little hands! It encourages creativity, builds body awareness, strengthens fine motor skills, and gives children a wonderful sense of pride in their work.

The smiles on their faces when they see the finished portraits are always the best part!

This is our biggest fundraising events, and every dollar raised goes right back into our preschool, supporting hands-on learning, new classroom resources, equipment, and memorable experiences for our students.

🌻 Planting sunshine one seed at a time! 🌻

Our little gardeners got their hands dirty planting sunflower seeds. We learned about roots, soil, water, and sunshine. Now the plants are home and we’re excited to watch our seeds grow taller and taller throughout the summer!

We had a very exciting special visitor at Wildwood Playschool this week! 🚒🔥

The Calgary Fire Department stopped by with their fire truck, and the children loved wearing their firefighter hats, exploring the truck, and learning all about what firefighters do to help our community.

A huge thank you to one of our amazing Playschool dads for organizing such a fun and memorable show-and-share experience for our little learners!
