This is a friendly reminder that we’re less than two weeks away from our special September event. Ryuji Shirakawa Shihan, 6th dan from Sendai, Japan, is returning to Calgary Aikikai for an exclusive North American seminar!

Calgary Aikikai is looking forward to our Fall Seminar with Ryuji Shirakawa Shihan this September 21 to 22. Sensei has been coming to Calgary for a long time. Here he is 20 years ago in 2004 with the late Inaba Shihan, our founder, and our current Dojo Cho, Chris Hayward. Looking forward to some beautiful aikido this autumn Sensei! On May 24th to 26th Calgary Aikikai is excited to welcome back seventh-dan Michael Friedl Shihan of Aikido of Ashland. With both kids and adults (13+) sessions. For more info see the link in our bio. See you on the mat!
