Happy Easter……at our dayhome we love to celebrate the holidays! Easter’s true meaning- Jesus being crucified, his death and his resurrection is a heavier, “scarier” concept to learn/discuss for little ones. So we discuss God’s love for us and how we don’t need to be sad that Jesus died on Good Friday because He was raised to life again on Easter Sunday! Amen!

We do coloured eggs, Easter baskets, bunny ears, chocolate and a hunt(later this week)which are fun things BUT we celebrate Jesus! Without Him, there would be no Easter.

We had a busy, fun filled week at the dayhome last week. It was March Break and I had my “oldies” come back. I felt blessed!
Monday:Easter donut day(I forgot to take pics)
Tuesday:PJ/Movie day, compete with popcorn. The girls also wanted to play school(haha on holidays)
Wednesday:Field trip, went to McDonald’s for lunch and then the pet store. They LOVE going on transit!
Thursday:Easter party.....hunting eggs, cookie decorating and of course eating treats!

Exploring magnets...... this activity lasted over 1/2 hr. We even went around the house to see what else the magnets could stick to 🧲😊
