The Scholars Academy Program is looking to recruit mentors who have experience in academia, business, engineering, healthcare, law, non-profit organizations, or any other professional field. Minimum time commitment is only a few hours per year.

This past week we hosted our first ever virtual year end celebration! Although far apart, the was able to celebrate our students' achievements from the past year.

From fleeing the devastation of the Ethiopian-Eritrean war when she was three, and settling in a refugee camp in Nairobi, to finally finding peace in Canada, Ruth has surmounted immense personal difficulty. She is an inspirational leader and is shortlisted for RBC's Canadian Immigrant Awards!
