Tis the season for MAGIC! We have a few last minute openings if you’d like to have us at your special event, or bring your crew out for some fresh air fun at Legacy Ranch (near Langdon)

Whiskey is enjoying the attention he’s getting. It’s been a long time coming. He was one of the most reactive horses I’ve known. Thankfully, the experience I gained working with Dollar has set me up for this journey.

Drifter is one of our most confident horses. Today, our participant arrived feeling unsure and even a bit scared! As she learned to communicate with Drifter, her confidence shone through and her nervousness receded. Drifter tuned in to what she asked and responded with a single finger to direct him! She realized that she has both confidence AND fear inside her and she can draw on either…

What looks like doing a simple task is actually quite remarkable. This teen had no experience with horses and was struggling with confidence in general. After just a few sessions, she was demonstrating her natural (but unrealized) leadership qualities! This is just one of the many ways horses make a difference.

We had a new client yesterday. She’s 14 and doing her best to navigate this thing we call life. Thanks for being a great partner, Teddy ❤️

After the session, her mom wrote:

I wanted to let you know that [she] was beaming when she got in the car yesterday. She doesn’t get excited about much, but her exact words were that she “loved it”.

[Before coming] She was adamant that she didn’t want to ride any horses and that ended up being her favourite part. It was really nice to see her be really joyful about something.

We recently got a new client who is fascinated with eye lashes. He gently cups his hand over Chip’s eye to feel the lashes flutter on his palm.

Typically, horses will pull away from this but Chip just patiently waits for his new friend to get his fill. 🧡 👁️👁️🧡

Gentle patience. Chip is a once in a lifetime horse.
